The Derringer is a type of pocket pistol that is NOT a revolver, semi-automatic, or manufactured pistol. The original design (1825) was a muzzleloading caplock pistol.   In 1852, the true percussion Philadelphia Deringer fully developed and began mass production.  The Deringer was a favorite hideaway gun of riverboat gamblers!

This blank-firing Deringer is a side-firing replica that chambers 6mm Flobert / .22 crimp blanks, with a length of 4.75 inches or 12.06cm.
