Prop Guns for Filmmaking in Canada

Canada is known for strict regulations regarding the importation of prop and replica firearms commonly used in film, television, and theatrical productions. However, many of our historical non-firing replica firearms have been successfully imported by customers in Canada.

Based on our experience, replicas of antique firearm designs generally encounter fewer import restrictions than modern firearm replicas. Many Canadian customers purchase historical reproductions, such as Old West revolvers, antique pistols, and other pre-1898 firearms, for collecting, display, reenactment, and production use.

Import eligibility is ultimately determined by Canadian authorities and may vary by product and circumstance. Customers are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Western Stage Props cannot offer refunds for items that are confiscated, refused entry, or returned by customs authorities.
